Question Overheating??

I have a 1997 Dodge Intrepid 3.5L and I have an overheating problem that I can't figure out. A couple months ago the intake gasket was leaking, I tore the engine down and replaced the gaskets from the intake up. I then took the car on a test drive to find that it was still overheating. I have replaced the radiator, replaced the thermostat and gasket. The coolant seems to be blowing back out the over flow but only when the motor has reached normal operating temperature and is at high RPMs. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you need a water pump.

So I'm guessing you took the timing belt of corect? Did you put it back corectly? When I changed the belt on my '02 I did not time it corectly. This made the engine overheat, not exactly sure the theory in behind it but yeah lol. So check the valve timming after you check out the waterpump.

Sounds like you still got air trapped in the system. Crack open the bleeder valve again, and see if you've got all the air out.

i have a diff issue but i was suspecting the water pump myself.

I think either my ac clutch is gone or the water pump.

Engine temperature is a tad under normal but stable.
When i fire it up cold, it makes a slight whistling sound (comes from ac side). Then it goes away

My inside heat works but its odd. Its hot then give it like literally a sec, and its cooler. NOT cold, but cooler.

So like at 22C its warm, then cool
At 24 c is hot, then cools off within a ms
At 28 c its hot, the cools off again
at Hi its always hot.

So im thinking the inside heat thing could be something else, but the rest, IM LOST !!!

Ill try some parts otherwise its time to visit the dealer :(

Either air in the system or water pump. When you start it up does the water in the puke tank bubble or only when it over heats?
