So, i tried finding what my paint color is. The code is PW4, and after looking i found a couple. When i got the car, the reciept says Artic Grey, then i looked online and found it was Artic White, now i look again after finding it definately isn't Artic anything cuz the paint does not match, and i find it is Opal Satin Glow Metallic. Any ideas lol.
Dealer definition is what it is....call them with your code.
Often there are several different name variations, depending on paint manufacturer, etc...but its all the same color...
My paint, for example...Chrysler calls it gomango...but the paint store called it tangerine pearl metallic...but it matches a factory gomango paint job perfectly, and is the mixing result of the Ram Daytona paint code I pulled right off of a Daytona Ram according to them...

Or you can request a build sheet for your car and they give you the paint color of your car. I had no really good clue as what mine was, but when I requested the build sheet of the car, it gave me the paint color of the car.
Back in the days of the impact colors, the number was the same, but Dodge called it one thing and Plymouth called it another. Example B3, Dodge called it Super Blue, Plymouth called it Basin Street Blue. Just give your VIN to the dealer and they will tell you what it is!
Look on the driver's door there is a panel in the door jam. I found my code there it said "PNT:PHC" So I found PHC which is my paint code and the dealer told me it was Candy Apple Red. I picked up a 5oz can of color match paint and I'm working on my rust tomorrow.
yeah i had the paint code, PW4 to begin with and they told me it was Artic White, so thats what i got. But it didn't match at all. Did some research and found it is Opal Satin Metallic Glow lol. Thanks for the help though.
