2.5

I don't know the car, but I did have a Stratus with the 2.5, which was a Mitsubishi engine. It had very good power and was fun to drive, but only got adequate gas mileage. We sold the car with 140K miles, and no engine trouble.

My mom has an Avenger, (same car as the Sebring) and its ok. Its all Mitsubishi except for the tranny. Thats the "2.7" of these cars. Theres a pin in the differential spider gears that after a while punches itself right through the tranny case. (I've heard that doing burnouts drasticly reduces the time of this happening.)

The other thing I dont like about them is the rocker panels. Once they start to turn to rust, they go really fast. There is a pocket in the front part of the rear fender well that literally collects everything the tire kicks up. In the Winter when its snow and salt thats getting collected there, they are eaten alive.

Last complaints are about the interior. Its kinda hard to drive long term for me (I drove it from Milwaukee to Toledo, about 300 miles) and my legs get really cramped in there. (Keep in mind, Im also 6' 3" lol) Also, they have an ugly as sin piss yellow interior light color. Thats easy to change though

Overall, its an ok car. If your a shortish person, then its pretty good. I like the way they look too.
