Latley the intrepid has started to run a little rough, and have wonkey acceleration,, and when i release the gas sometimes and it downshifts there is a violent thump that comes from the engine area, now i know that the rear trans mount is gone becasue chrysler told me it was, what symptoms would the rear trans mount not working properly cause,, further when im on the highway doing around 120-130 i get a constant rumble coming from the front end,,, and subsequent vibration in the car,,,, i also know that one of my front right sub frame bushing is gone,,, also becasue chrysler told me,,,, any suggestions with that? other than that i have new tires,, and i just had some tie rods and control arms replaced,,,,, and i thought that would fix my crappy ride quality,,,,, but it didnt help too much,,, any thought,,, thanks allot,,,,

sounds to me like you have worn inner and outer tierod ends . most likely inner though. can you feel the vibration in the steering wheel? does it also make noise while turning? and you may also have a slight misbalance in your tires.

I would have the mount work done first, that should take care of the bumps and some vibration. Did you ever have your throttlebodies cleaned or injectors. I don't know where you live in T.O. but dealerships can be very expensive and finding a trustworthy mechanic is also hard. My cousin has a small shop called Autotex in the Dixie and Queensway area and I'ld say a good 80% or more of his business is word of mouth. That's the kind of shop you have to find, a shop recommended by a friend etc.
