Wtf is wrong with my car!?!?!?!?!?!?

Alright yesterday going from Yakima, WA to Seattle, WA my 94' ES with no engine mods or anything got 30.2 mpg average. WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I DID TO THIS CAR!?

PS: The engine is a 3.5 with a newish set of fuel injectors and a new air filter, the hydraulic lifters are making a slight tacking sound in the lower rpms and thats all there is to it.

Thats what they can do under "normal" conditions.

Why buy a uncomfortable "little" car that get's 32 mpg.

My wife got 32 with the cord ...i can't!

I would assume the milage was calculated.

I got roughly 35ish on my trip from ky to pa, no ac running, and almost no stops, and at a high speed, that, is what helps the most is the no stopping.

How about this:

On a trip from northern Arizona, to Rocky Point Mexico, my friend got 32 MPG in her 98 Lexus LS 400 with a 4L V8... We were flabbergasted... =D

I got 34 from Whitby, ON to London, ON, about a 250km trip, averaging 120-130km/h, in a 2004 3.5 Trep with a Special PCM and Special exhaust.

That's great mpgs. I only get half that! Of course my trips are short and usually dragging a car full/ half full of people.

lol no I like that kind of mileage its just that the last 3 times I had run it I only got 26mpg and that is calculated and measured on the OTIS. I calculated it when I saw it on the OTIS because I couldnt believe it.

24-26mpg is actually avg for speeds around 75 mph.

I know I can get 26mpg @ 70-74, above 75 it goes down to 24-23mpg til 80mph. Without Drafting other cars.

I personally hate these threads with claims with really no proof. Everytime I am on the highway I draft. I honestly do. Exspecially when driving some what fast. I can get close to 30 mpg at 80, with drafting. No one never admit to doing this.

So I just laugh when I read soem one gets 30+ at highway speeds, yet they do not say anythign else related.

So, Not ot be an ass, but unless u actually can record, a vid showing your speed, the view ahead, and the otis instant mpg, i won't believe a 3.5 got around 30 mpg above 70mph.Goes for Second gens too.

If some one wants me to post prove. I can.

Just like the How Fast have you gone thread. All Talk, no proof.
