My trep was a pain in the ass when I got it...
steering rack went, door seals, badges (ok that's nothing but hey, they were all chipped), heater blowing heat when it feels like it (have to go back :mad: ), had to take it in 3 times to get some working intermittent wipers.
and today! my mom neon (she bought it exactly one week after I bought my trep (bought the trep oct1, neon oct7) was acting weird as per my mom. She said that It was in gear but it neutral. So she took it in... diagnostic... clutch blew... WTF!?!?!??!?!?!? the car have 4400KM (2700miles for you my buddy from the south) on the clock!!!!! Don't tell me my mother don't know how to drive a manual... she did 245,000km (150,000miles) on the original clutch of her 1990 colt 200E.
When I took her car 2-3 days ago I thought the clutch was weird, it felt like it was slipping when I was shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd... but the car is new so I tought I was wrong...
I guess I was right
DC is officially off my car list... when the warranty will be over , beleive me the trep will be outta here and I think it's going to be the same with the neon.
I'll go back to the rice burning jap cars.
