It's been awhile

I stopped back in today because I was hoping to find some old photos that I posted.

But since I'm here I would give an update to my 2000 Silver R/T

She is no longer with us. After a few years of hardly driving the car. I finally let her go and sold it to my sister. The Trep was in great condition. I just drove my company vehicle everyday so I would drive the Trep maybe once a week if anything at all. In the winter months we just used my wifes Jeep Liberty.

So anyways very sad story. My sister left the Trep parked in front of her house on a busy main road. A young driver claimed they were typing into their GPS and smashed into the rear end. The driver tried to take off but instead hit some ice and slammed their car into a snow bank. The insurance company totaled the old girl.

This all happend about 4 years ago, but I still miss my car. I put 160,000 miles on her. My Trep seen 46 states with me. The only states she missed was Hawaii, Cali, Oregon and West Virgina

As much as I miss my faithful Intrepid, I love my new Jeep Wrangler.

I can fix a $283.1 million dollar B-1 Bomber, but I'm not allowed to "fix" the work truck!

That's what I was thinking as well when I found out what happened. I'm just glad the driver did more damage to their car when they hit the snow bank

Wow, DCellBatteries, I think you were the guy that inspired me to paint my tail lights way back when on my Intrepid.
