there's a sensor to monitor damn near everything in these cars. if one was left unplugged, it could make the engine not deliver spark, hence not turn over. my guess is that your problem lies somewhere with a sensor or sensors. make sure the spark plug wires and everything are on the right cylinders (i assume you took them off?).....try the easy stuff first before you take the front apart again.
