Question Some new vibrationszszssz......

Hey there all.. Im new to this forum as I just purchased a beautiful 97 Intrepid Sport, 3.5, autostick. My question is this...
After driving it about 3 weeks or so now it seems that it is starting to idle a little rough (inconsistently), especially noticeable in neutral. Idle speed seems to be between 5 & 600 in drive and about 800 or so in neutral? Power is great but I also notice a tiny bit of steering wheel vibration while under moderate acceleration, cruising under power is smooth as silk though?
Any ideas....Ive been reading alot about intake manifold gaskets on these 1st generations, also the oil in the tube problem. Can you guys point me in the right direction??

PS Ive got the manual and am not afraid to dive in myself (being a backyard mechanic and all) but a starting point would be very much appreciated....

I'd definately suspect your intake manifold gasket, plugs, plugwires, and your airfilter. Personally I'd think it would be the intake gasket.

I had that same vibration on acceleration last year. I cured it with gas treatments. I like the Chevron one. I use a treatment once a month. I have not replaced any tune up parts since that time, and it runs so smooth.
