What happend to all the Chrysler, Dodge WEB sites?

I have not been able to log onto ANY Chrysler related WEB sites for more than two weeks now.
None of the links from this forum or any of other sites works.
Not even links from the DaimlerChrysler sites work!
I wonder if anyone else has this problem?
Did Daimler get rid of all of Chrysler?:(

Well, I had no problem. Are you using the right addresses?

www.dodge.com
www.chrysler.com

Yes, I was trying to use those two and also
www.4adodge.com and none worked!
By the way your links didn't work either!
I just had someone who also lives in Queens, NY try these and they didn't work for him either.
Everything else works! No other Internet address comes up missing!
Is it possible that the problem is with the ISP?
I get a message "Can't find server or DNS error"
Does anyone know what a heck is a DNS error?

Could be that your primary DNS server is on the fritz...your ISP should have a couple back up servers that you should reroute to though....quite odd. Can't say it hasn't happened to me though.

Actually, DC sold off Chrysler and Dodge to Packard...it won't be announced until tomorrow though. ;)

Packard...the long ago extinct car company. They just got resurrected today long enough to buy Chrysler and Dodge...don't you watch the news? ;)

Yea, and GM bought FORD.

1908: GM almost purchases Ford

Automotive News / February 17, 2003

The relentless rivalry between Ford Motor Co. and General Motors almost didn't happen.

The restless Henry Ford considered selling his company several times in the early years of the 20th century. In 1908, GM founder Billy Durant eagerly sought to oblige him.

Durant wanted to acquire Ford through a holding company that would pay for Ford stock with stock in the new conglomerate. The pitch brought Ford to the table in 1909, but he wanted cash.

Too bad for GM, Durant let that offer linger. GM would spend the century fighting Ford tooth and nail over every tenth of a point of market share. And the U.S. economy would be all the better for it.

For the rest of the story, read Automotive News' Ford 100 commemorative edition on June 16. For information about the special issue, go to www.autonews.com/ford100/.

OPPS, I MEAN 'almost'

DNS is the system of servers that resolves domain names into ip addresses.

Here are the ips:

Dodge.com:
http://129.9.153.254

Chrsyler.com:
http://129.9.153.253

Maybe they have been getting Denial Of Service attacks. They have ping(or IMCP) turned off.

If I call my ISP and tell them that I have this problem, could they fix it?

All those links working, but this site has its slow moments.... Probably because it's so damn popular!
