opinion on the 2000 ES

I am looking to get the 2000 ES Trep. What is everyones opinion on the car? Is it good? Any problems? I read that thing about the recall but don't understand much. Does it mean i should get a Trep right now? One last thing, what can i do to the 2000 ES to make it sound like it has power!? Engine/exaust etc. explain
Thanks guys, ur making this easier for me to get my own trep! My dad has one (different model) and we are putting a pimp sound system in it.

the recall is no reason to even question purchasing a trep, it consists of 4 bolts (2 per seat) that are being replaced, that does not make this a bad car in any aspect

I have a 2000 ES and love it, check out the link in my sig for some stufff that I have done to the car

You would be very happy with that car, and you will have a lot of fun trying to catch Joe in the mod dept.

Love my 2000 ES as well. Just surpassed 113,000 miles on it and it's still going strong with no hint of any problems (knocking on wood). The only problems I have had with it has been the A/C belt breaking (wearable part) and the output speed sensor going bad. Both of which cost $100.01 or less to have fixed.
