Hate to do it.........

I am going to sell the trep. I have a 98 2.7L with 52000 miles on it. Any clue what I could get for it if I sell it as a family sedan? Also, what about with the custom stuff on it?? I hate to do it but I am looking at the Acura 3.5RL or the 3.2TL.. If you know which would be better for me to purchase, le me know that as well.

---on a different note, I would like to thank everyone that has helped me. I have also met some cool people through this site, so hope everything goes well for everyone. I am sure I will still be here for a while until the car sells....

Why are you selling it, dude? You can still come here even if you don't have a trep - if Axle is allowed to be here without a trep, anyone is allowed to be here without a trep! As far as a decision between the Acura 3.5RL or the 3.2TL, get the faster badder one!

Good luck!

I never heard of the 3.5RL. Is that a brand new model?

Personally, I'd take a look at the TL Type S. It's a really nice sedan and will give you pretty much equal performance to an R/T. Honestly, if the TL-S had been out when I was shopping I probably would be driving one instead of the R/T. NOT that I'm unhappy with my R/T...

Been out for quite few years. Its Acura's luxo-barge.

blkintrepid, if I were you, I would also look at the Acura TSX. It is the euro Accord (slightly smaller than the one we get here) and is not watered down for North America.

200hp I4, 0-60 in 6.6 seconds 1/4 in the mid 14s. Nice tight handling, and Honda/Acura fit and finish.

Thanks.... I am selling it b/c I have had a few problems already.. Like, starter, trans hose coming off.... I also know that the 2.7 sludge sucks and it is not a great engine for the car. I like the reliability of the honda and I want to sell the car while it still has some value. At least I am not going rice, even though I am going foreign...LOL

Crash, its 3.2TL Type S!

The 3.5RL is extremely Nice, My brother is looking at getting either a 2000 3.5RL or a 2000 LS400

If you want HP+Lux, get 3.2TL Type S
If you want Luxo-Cruiser/Touring Sedan get 3.5RL

Don't bother with an RL. Overpriced.

Go with a TL-TypeS
