Need help with door panels

How do I get them off to install chrome?

I took out all the screws I could see (the ones under the tiny covers too)

What do I do now?

Thanks

front or rear doors?

if front did you get the ones around the speaker?

when all screws are out you can pull the panel out and up to remove

You have to take the grill off??????

I didn't see ones around the speaker besides the ones holding the speaker to the door??? Do I need to take those off?

.........rear doors I have all screws out I think (all the visible ones 3 at the bottom of the door, 1 in handle, 1 in other handle........what do I do next??? Just pull??? I tried yanking a bit but it didn't really move much.

take the grill off and look around the outside of the speaker, you will see them there inside holes about 2" deep

If I remember right there were two per door, might be three though

When all screws are out there are 3-4 plastic fasteners that just pop out. Grab the bottom edge and give it a quick pull to pop it off.

Still can't get the rear door off, took out 5 screws total in the rear door (3 under the door and 2 behind little cover ups)

Ummmmmmm, how do I swap the handles out??? OMG looks like it's permanently in there

I need help with the handle removal and the rear door panel removal still, was able to switch the front switches

I used a small flathead screwdriver and a pair of needlenose pliers to guide the pins out and pull the OEM handle, install was just a matter of pushing the pin back in with the same pliers

as for the rear panel, run your fingers around the edge to see where it is held in, you should just be able to pull the panels right off

Which way does the OEM handle come out??? I see that I have to slide the top of the handle out, but does it come out the front of the panel or the rear of the panel? did you use the screwdriver to pry the pin away from the socket and then pull or push with the pliers?

I pushed the small flathead into the plastic weld at the bottom of the pin to get it started and then used the pliers to move it by grasping the pin and slowly feeding it out

I figured it out!!! I have to break the plastic at the top of the pin so I can slide it out. I didn't realize I had to break anything.

Thanks a lot for all the help, I now have the passenger side done, drivers side tomorrow

Thanks again Joe, I might have to let you win in a race with the rental
