B&G Chrysler Specialists PCM Retune

Has anyone gone to B&G Chrysler Specialists in Warren, MI to get their PCM or TCM retuned? And if so, were you happy with the results?

Garage
Hey I'm right in your back yard! Are those the same folks that service the RB4 nav radios? Didn't know they could crack into the PCM. That might be huge!

I think Shadowvox has gotten a PCM retuned by them for his last M.

In the thread "PCM & horsepower question", on the third page, member CaptainMorgan mentions them. On their webiste, bgperformancepcm.com , they don't list LH cars specifically, but it seems like they do everything Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep.

I've always been under the impression that they are the place to go to get your car tuned since there aren't many people out there that can.

Would you, or anyone, have a rough estimate of how much they charge for a retune?

Off the top of my head I'm thinking 500$ or so for some reason.

Damn....Would spending half that on a 2000 300m pcm be a better choice or is the B&G retune a lot better?

Depends, unless you've got some other performance upgrades that you'd like incorporated into the tune.

I have K&N CAI, muffler/resonator delete with a glasspack and asp pulley. So it sounds like it'd be worth the custom tune....time to start saving up

For those items, it won't benefit you.
Everything you have, the stock PCM can accommodate quite easily.

I just called the other day.

$350 for a calibration

20 hp max. increase and you have to use premium fuel.

Since I was rushed off the phone, I wonder if you get the "special" PCM and have that retured it would be much higher... 242 vs 250/plus/minus

I'd like to try out a calibration from Intertia (they are 20 mins from my place) but from talking to them, the work with B&G to do the tunes anyway, so...

Yeah, they go through B&G.
The guy that runs B&G is somewhat eccentric.
Don't be surprised.
