Chrysler Cust. Care - time to bitch out my service department

[/rant on]

My 5star service department are a bunch of assholes. They think they are holyier than god cause they are busy, and service SO MANY cars a day. They make me wait weeks to schedule a lousy oil change. And then they refuse to take my car because I showed up at 9:45 (on my appointment day)... because they only accept cars between 7:30 and 9am. He claims he told me i need to be there by 9, but he never said that. Then i complain to the service manager and he is a bigger dick than the advisor.

Also... I made the appointment on April 7th... and they said the EARLIEST they could get me in was today (the 21st). Yet my dad calls on Thursday the 10th to make the same appointment, and they give him the 17th. ROFL! I ask the service advisor why my dad gets a sooner appointment... and he says QUOTE "oh we prioritize "new" cars... and we push you aside". I ask him how long is a car considered "new" and he says one year. When i told him my dad bought his 2002 in Nov. 2001... which makes his car 18 months old... he felt stupid and gave me some stupid reason why he got in sooner.

I wanna bitch them out to Chrysler. Does anyone have a number I can call... or even better a good contact?

It really blows that i have to deal with a bunch of assholes there, and even after my warranty is up... i have a DC service contract so I am stuck going back there (unless I choose another dealer).

Im gonna threaten Chrysler by telling them im gonna sell back my service contract unless they rectify this situation. Why should I have a Chrysler service contract if im gonna get crap service. Ill just sell it back and have Chrysler send me $700 buks which would be the pro-rated difference on what I paid for it.

Assholes.

That sucks DJ. I like my small-town dealer. They know my family personally, and I get good service. I usually call for an appointment the day before, and drop my car off after work. They even make follow-up calls to see how my car is running.

Yeah... its disgusting. Since i live in a pretty dense city... its not the same here. I gotta wait weeks for service, I get no rental, and they have nasty attitudes. Sucks hard.

Hey Rich, doesn't your treps owners manual have a 1800# somewhere in it for the MI branch? It's worth a try.

You couldn't pay me enough to live in a big city like NYC. Hell, Cedar rapids is too crowded for me. I likes my space and long stretches of deserted highways.

There is a possibility I might be moving to Eastern Long Island.... looking for a house out there currently... so maybe I won't have to deal with these fucktards after this year.

I drive to Cedar Rapids everyday from Amana, to go to Kirkwood. The service dept at Cedar Rapids Dodge, sucks ass. But the one on first Ave, is ok service IMO.

If you're not getting good service, hit them where it counts, in there 5 star rating and if they don't have one, well that'll help postpone it.

Sorry Dj, I used to have the # for the head of warranty/service for the U.S. givin to me by one of the Chrysler Vice Presidents but I lost it about a year ago.
I didn't opt for the service contract, too much money for me at the time. It seems like because you have a service contract they already have your money and don't care, which I think if you already paid for it, you should be first.

Since when was the headquarters in Brampton???

I guess that big building in Auburn Hills with the huge Pentastar is just for show.

Soooooooooo...........what's the name of this dealer? It sounds like it would be recommended for other people (like DI.net members) to avoid this place. Oh, and the BBB is another good place to call and complain.

LOL Thats what Chrysler thinks. One of the clauses in my Service Contract is that I can sell it back to Chrysler whenever I want... pro-rated.

So I spent $1100 for my service contract. If I sell it now... approximately 1/3 into it... I have 2/3 contract left. If I sell it back to Chrysler for about $600-700 buks. And its not like they can say no either.

Wow DJ...that sucks. Let me see if I can find the number for the lady that helped me out last time a dealer tried to screw me over. I had there 5th star removed. Headquarters is serious about this stuff.
