My new interior lights

After many threads and different ideas being thrown around, I finally got around to getting some new lights all around. I planned to put led lights under the dash and both front seats but the cheap led strips I bought on eBay did not hold up all the way. One broke and I only had three so that idea was shot. I switched out the old crappy neons from under the dash to a 120cm 60 led strip. I took the other one and replaced the neon in the trunk with it as well. The broken led still worked about 3 inches so i cut it up and put it in the din under my cd player. I put 5 led bulbs in the dash, in the glove box, and in the license plate light. I put a smd led in the reverse lights. I believe that is all so here goes some pictures...

Forgot to get the glove box pic but I am sure you all can imagine. Hope you all like my work!

Everything is from eBay. I love eBay haha The bulbs in the glove box, license plate, and cluster are all 194 leds with 5 leds each. The reverse lights are 194 smd led, I forget how many are on each of those. The strips are 120cm 60 led strips.

Thanks. I was worried about if they were going to be real bright because I have heard that they are not. I was surprised by the output. I love em! I only paid $8 for all three strips. If you go to pepboys, they charge you like $25 for a 2 inch strip.

Check out all this seller has .. he's got the strips with multiple sizes of leds in the strips..and he's an american seller with great prices.. which is RARE on ebay
Small size leds http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x30c...item23094eda08

1210 led size(medium)..http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

this is for 5050 size leds (larger) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x30c...item2308feefcc

The only thing I dont like about the 5050 led strips is the weird connectors that come with them..

he's also got the side firing led lights.. the ones people use for headlight accents..(search " audi style" ) or click this link.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-...item255e4d3739

anyway..the dude has great prices..and a nice selection .. I'm going to use this seller next paycheck and get me some more lighting..(like I need it)..

BTW.. You did a nice job with your lighting ... did you get em shipped from china/hong kong?

my temporary sig page..till I get time to make one! HERE

Yeah they were shipped from hong kong and took a while to get here. The price was right though.

I never thought about that. I did not know that the ash tray light dimmed. Looks like I need to rewire my lights now!
