Does anyone know if the door locks from a 1g will fit a 2g? I need one for my drivers side.

yes they are the same! 1st and 2nd gen and 300m as I have a 1st gen and 300m chrome locks and window switches! pm me if you want a lock switch!

would the window switches fix my auto window switch problem (its wont go down when 2nd clicked and released)? or is that some other problem?

yes that qould fix the problem! If you have a 1st gen!(hence the window gang assembly controls the auto-down feature.
