ISO: a way to stop my rearview mirror from rattling

my subs really makes my rearview rattle. do you think i could drill 2 small holes in the bottom of the mirror and fill it with expanding foam to stop the rattling? let me know your ideas. thx

If you do, make sure to use a minimal-expanding foam like Dap. Great Stuff or Geocel foam will expand a lot more possibly causing damage.

do you have the autodimming mirror or the standard one?

if it is the standard you should be able to tighten it up a bit to try and help

Ahhh, mine does the same damn thing! Its the only part on the car that rattles! I dono what to do about it tho.

same here! the trunk never rattles, only the mirror and you can hear it out side rattling!
