Angry Dun Dun Dunnnn. CEL Code 43 is backkkkk :(

Damn thing won't go away!

Changed my lower intake gasket last week as well as the #5 injector...drove it about 100 miles when it popped up again this evening. Plugs, wires, and coil have all been changed recently. What else could it possibly be?? I should mention I have a different PCM than stock but has not given me any problems before. Injector o rings? I'm grasping at straws!

What different PCM did you put in it?

Changed ignition coils or confirmed that your connections are clean, both on the low and high voltage sides?

Original was a 4606763AA no limit for VR tires. Couldn't find an identical so now I got 4606763AF

Swapped Ignition coils to no avail

Car would not crank with the old one. Unfortunately It was the last part I changed after I replaced the camshaft and crankshaft sensors

Wouldn't crank, or wouldn't run after cranking?

PCM has nothing to do with the signal to crank I do believe...

Do you still have the original PCM? I'd try swapping it back if you do...

Can what cause a #43? PCM is issuing the codes, so if the PCM is confused, it can issue anything it wants to. #43 has to do with ignition, so I suggest checking your connections on your PCM, and at the coil, and at the passenger shock tower. Make sure you don't see any damaged wire loom (externally) and then either swap coils or swap PCMs... While you are checking the connections, make sure you have good looking secondary ignition coil contacts too (where the plug wires attach).

Hrrrm - o.k. Well, that is a good enough proof to know that your fix was it!
