Thumbs up Lug-nut Stupidity!!!

So i replaced the front rotors and pads on my sister in-laws ES yesterday which went smoothly except for one thing 5 different lug-huts on 2 different wheels

I want to meet the guy who did that just to punch him in the throat lol.

It took 4 different sockets to get them all off.

I have about that many different ones on my ES but at least they all take the same socket.

That would have been fine if they all came off with the same socket.

I forgot to mention that the two short dark grey ones bottomed out before they even touched the rim

What lug nuts did you use? I'd like to find a decent aftermarket lug nut (not a fan of Chrysler's chrome cap lug nuts) that don't chip and flake after a year.

This is the kit iv had on mine for over five years and they have held up great and the only reason i bought the the new kit was because my dumb ass lost the key.

The 2 reviews suck on them but i honestly think they were over torquing them because iv had mine off more times then i can count and have never had a problem with them or the key even using an impact to remove them.

Yup, that's the set I've got, but I have used impact on them... I'm guessing the impact use has damaged the chrome coating - I'll have to replace them, and be more careful with impact use.
