What is it?

My 2002 Intrepid RT has developed an odd shake @ 15 - 30 MPH. It almost feels like a loose wheel, but I can't feel the steering wheel shake, and it feels almost like the whole car is shaking. Above 30 MPH it smooths out and cannot be fellt again until slowing down. Anybody got any ideas? I'm kinda mistified.

Thx in advance

Welcome to the site.

Check the inner tie-rod bushings and the outer tie rod ends one or both most likely need replacing.

I vote tire issues. Belt separation or similar.

I had this same issue years ago on my 2000 Base model. It was the tires.

Re: What is it.

Thanx Guys. I'll start with the tires, and go from there. I'll also keep you posted as to what it turns out to be. Can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
