Im running a 35w kit with 5000k bi-xenon bulbs from DDM Tuning in mine but i don't suggest going with there kits because they only ship from china and there slower than a snail shitting a brick.

Also there replay harness sucks ass as much as there customer service.

Look through my thread and see all the crap i went through to get them to work properly.

The term plug and play just means that you don't have splice into the vehicles wiring harness because there is a male 9007 plug connects to the drivers side 9007 headlight plug that only turns on the headlights.

Mine is plug and play.

ok so pretty simple then??? or is there problems ... and i did some reading on it and im taking a guess here that you only have low beam only and high beam is deleted??

The install is very simple so long as the kit you purchase doesn't give you problems like mine having a crappy relay harness.

The kit that i bought is called a bi-xenon kit which means that the bulb is xenon gas high and low that magnetically changed when you turn on the high beams where some kits are xenon gas low with a halogen high beam.attached to the side of the xenon bulb.

sorry for so many posts but this says it will only fit the 3.5 ES's ... min is obviously not an ES or a 3.5 .. just a plane jane 3.3 ... will it still fit anyway?? and are the "black" housings any different than "stock" housings

First don't buy from that seller because number 1 at $68.00 those radiators have got to be garbage and second the reviews for that seller suck.

As far as single vs double row goes the double is twice the cooling area but honestly is not needed in a daily driver.

They will fit fine but the light output will be reduced because there is less mirrored area to reflect the light.

I'm going to say that the HID bulb in this case is like any other with a gas filled capsule that illuminates when hit with high voltage(like all true HID or true Xenon bulb)s.

A 1st gen halogen bulb has two filaments that are at different distances from the bulb base. High or Low beam is selected on those bulbs by lighting up one or the other filament. They use the same headlight housing with one bulb. The beam is focused differently depending on which filament is lit.

With these HID bulbs there's only one "filament"...the gas capsule which is a set distance from the bulb base. To mimic the typical dual filament halogen bulb....the HID bulb base has a solenoid in it. When activated it moves the gas capsule to a different distance from the bulb base. Either in or out. That changes the position of the gas capsule in relation to the bulb base and effectively changes High/Low beam.

Probably too technical of a description..but that's how it works.
