Hard to start when cold?

Okay, my 94 LHS has a strange issue. When the engine is cold or has sat for a while, it is hard to start.

I have to crank it for anywhere from 5 to 10 seconds and then it will start up. Sometimes if I just crank it for 5 seconds and it barely catches, it will stall out and I have to crank it again and then it fires up.

Once it gets going and then I turn it off and turn it back on shortly afterword, it works fine.

It runs fine, hasn't thrown any codes in quite a while.

What could it be? It is more of an annoyance more than anything at this point, but it still bugs the heck out of me.

sounds like it is a fuel related issue. Look at changing your fuel filter.

if that doesn't work... get a fuel pressure test guage from someone, and see what your fuel pressure is after sitting. if it pumps up really slow.. you might have a bad fuel pressure regulator or Fuel pump.
