Body Work

First of all this is not for my car. My friend/stepbrother has a 92 camry and just crashed the front right of it. The car is only worth about 2000 bucks so a full 4000 repair job would be retarded. His car is just for getting him from place to place, so I am going to try to find the parts I need for it and fix it up myself. With that said I have ZERO experience and thats one of the reasons why I want to do this with his car, because it really doesn't matter how it turns out, as long as he has a working headlight on that part of the car. So the first step is to get the parts. I've been having trouble locating junk yards around here. I've only found one which happens to be very close, but since theres a good chance I won't find what I need there, I'm still looking for other places. For all you Ohio members, I'm looking for anywhere within 45 minutes of Columbus. Next, I know a guy that works at a body shop, so if all else fails, is there anyway that I can just have him order the parts and do the work myself or is there a parts dealer that I could talk to myself.
The current plan though is to get the parts from the junkyard and I'm assuming that I won't be lucky enough to find it in the right color, my next cry for help is about sanding and painting myself. I know I've seen some of you guys to incredible work on your cars so I'm asking about what all is needed and what all has to be done. Keep in mind I've never done anything like this before so don't assume that I know anything. I'm also not going to worry about blending paint with the adjacent panels.

Thats about it for now, I'll get some pictures up of the damage soon that you can laugh at. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

My car won't ever be done because I'm insane. That is all.

Replacing parts, and snding them, anyone should be able to handle. Painting and dent or bondo work is a little harder...
