Chrysler Eagle Vision - water linking in trunk

Does anyone have a problem with rain water linking into their trunk or boot on your
eagle vision? or have you had this problem in the past, and know how to fix the link?

I've not had the car long, and notice I was getting alot of condensation on the inside of the trunk lid. I lifted the spare wheel cover, and notice a fair bit of water in the spare wheel base.

I've notice the water is coming in to the right of the channel, where the trunk rubber is.
I'll post pictures tomorrow,as it's dark here in the uk now.

Anyway any help would be great please.

well I've now found where the water was coming into the boot.
there is a drain pipe at the bottom of the rear electric aerial, that runs down out of the body work, under the right side rear lights, as you can c in the photos. something really stupid that I can't believe I missed. oh well, at least I have found it now.

Good thing you found it.

If it happens in the future, have a buddy lock you in the trunk with a good light, and run a hose over all the possible leak areas (decklid, tailights, rear window, antenna, etc)....while you watch for the leak.

I still have a leak in mine. I know where in the trunck it is coming from but how it is getting inside I do not. I have silicone the hell out of every joint and seam I can find to little avail. I ended up drilling drain hole in my spare tire and painting it.

Hey DAYTREPPER, thanks for the advice buddy.
water was still leaking into my boot, so I had to do what you said..I got inside my trunk or boot, and got my dad to use a hose pipe, after awhile I could c where the water is leaking.
I've made two videos, as I know one of my buddies on here is also having the same problem, and hope this helps for anyone else.

Part 1 Watch first
