I wonder what filter is stamped as "Mopar" and put on my car by the dealer when I go in for oil changes.

Mopar is by Champion or Purolator, and of good quality. If you buy it separately though you're paying extra for the Mopar name.

Most of us who go to the dealer for a change it is included in the price which is good, I guess.

You take your car to the dealer for oil changes?! Lazy Butt!! lol! J/K

I don't take mine to the dealer anymore...they fubared my oil pan last time, and had to put an over-sized drain plug in. I think I'll have them replace the pan for me...

Well, this dealer has treated me right... so I'll stick with them.

According to the study, Mopar filters are "like a box of chocolates", you never know who the manufacturer will be. (true of almost any OEM filter).

About Mopar filters:

....sorry for the repost. My original search didn't show the original post.
