funny/scary story

about a week ago. i noticed that when i went around this one corner, it was hard to turn the wheel. a few days later, i noticed again. oh crap, power steering pump!! then today i was in line at chik f la and looked down and noticed a frayed speaker wire dangling from under my dash!!! go it hope and took the dash apart and guesss what it was. one of the wires for my LEDS had gotten caught up in the u joint of the steering column. that sucker was wrapped around it 5 opr 6 times. so everytime i took that hard turn, i pulled the wire tighter and tighter till that sucker just snapped. it took five mins to fix and im sure glad it wasnt the power steering.

had the same problem. I was driving in the rain and i think i accidently kicked the wire down. I was planning on tucking it away neatly later that night. So im on the highway and realize the steering gets hard i take the first exit and turn the wheel hard and just rip the wire out. I figured i was better off ripping it out now than later.
