Exclamation Be Mature For YBnormal's Sake (Please sticky)

It is obscenely unfair to terminte a dedicated empolyee on the grounds of an assumption. Although there was a "stated" rule about the use of cameras on the premisise, there doesn't seem to be any written rules that we know of. Granted, most of us aren't auto workers, and come from a plethora of backgrounds and jobs. The mere thought that Jose was responsible for the illegally released pictures of the HEMI is fully INANE

(Inane: Without contents; empty; void of sense or intelligence; purposeless; pointless; characterless; useless)

What kind of inept individual would be so insideous that they would release a picture illegally of a new HEMI? Well, we all know that Jose is not that kind of person, and it cannot be him.

So.....

More than anything, we need to find the individual who is respnosible for the entire situation and let Diamler-Chrysler know who is actually to blame. While this may not get YB his job back, it will however take blame and possibility of a lawsuit and/or further financial handicap off of his trail. Now some people say, "Well we can't do anything, we're just little old me!" But I completely disagree. There are several very capable, smart, and extremely helpful people on this site. It is crucial that we all work together to find the actual offender that Jose is being framed as. Also, look at it like this, there are over 1,000 active members on these boards, and all of us are completely obsessed with the Intrepid and similar design Chryslers. If many or all of us manage to get a hold of the offices, managers, write letters, or do anything we possibly can, there is bound to be some kind of result. Now do bear in mind this:

We need to approach this in an appropriate manner. DC isn't going to start to change its mind with crude comments such as, "Diamler-Chrysler Sucks!!" We need to take a mature and adult-like approach to the situation. It is important to realize the type of people we are dealing with. These are very rich, high class, sophisticated people. If we don't put ourselves on a level where they can even think about taking us seriously, there isn't a chance that YB will see any good repercussion. It is also very important to support Jose, as losing such a steady job without notice is very hard on a family, its income, and the well-being of the members in general. This site has been profoundly lucky to have Jose helping us and being our friend. If Diamler-Chrysler sees that the people he's pretty much "selling Intrepids" to are not trying to exploit the company but hurrah in triumph at its great design, they may (but not guarunteed) realize that not Jose, nor any other DI.net member means any harm. But most importantly, this is what needs to be done:

-Stay mature: Don't let your anger control you, keep your cool and good results are bound to happen

-Don't brush this off and say, "Tough Break." This is a serious issue and our friend needs our help

-Don't forget that Jose no longer has a job, support him in any way that you can.

Thank you, and please help support our friend.

-Duncan

DC doesn't care. They will use this as an example to scare other employees. It is very difficult to fire someone these days, but this seems a case that they will win. We feel for those employees and their families.

It comes down to someone trying to cover their ass for letting pictures get out. They found a fall guy(s). Life isn't always fair, this is a perfect example.

The bottom line is they put themselves in this position and DC is taking advantage of the situation. Lesson learned for next time.

All of chrysler's great american pride went right down the toilet as soon as those Nazis took over. Hopefully this will all work out.

Hey virtueixi,

As a US-Car fan I also dont like to see Chrysler under German "leadership" EVEN THOUGH I AM A GERMAN, but this is no reason to call them Nazies. This is no adequate description by any means...

Though, I hope you only wanted to express your anger about those Chrysler CEOs.

I am also angry about those fucking CEOs which only see their profit and have nothing better to do to fire 2 of the best Chrysler employees Ive ever seen just a month before christmas.
Im sorry to hear this as YB helped me a lot in uncountable cases concerning my car.

I will support any actions to help Jose and Otto where ever I can and I hope things will clear up fine for them.

There is always a solution and I think that YB and Otto know they can count on us!!

Lesson Learned for next time? What's the lesson? Don't support DCX? Don't be enthusiastic about their potential? That's the lesson that I'm learning from this.

I can't go into detail, but basically, DCX is making it easier to eliminate jobs and or employees.

It's almost as if they're trying to earn respect out of fear.

One problem with Unions is that they are very rule oriented. If you are a great worker who steps over the line by breaking a rule it's bye bye... but if you are a shitty worker who obeys all the rules they can't get rid of you.

I just found to express my angry, that I talk to others about it. (not on this site) I mean, why not try to get an unbiased opinion? Many others have been invited to the site and read what is going on and many of them dont like what they see and what they've heard. If a campaign such as this is to make some grounds, then we need others besides just the people that Yb and Otto have befriended, because those are the people whose opinions will matter the most in the long run. Get them to side with us, and we now have a crusade (without the obvious religious implications )

I agree with real, it just seems that the newer Chrysler products are not what they used to be. I mean maybe because I drive a 93 Intrepid and for it's time when it was released it was incredible. And to this day looks great. But just look at the small things, compare a 98 Intrepid ES to an 04 ES. Besides the engine being the 3.5 now, look at the difference. It no longer says "Dodge" on the side, the exhaust tip is just "plain jane", the deck-lid lost it's covering on the inside....just some things to look for I guess. Just cutting back to the cheapest I guess....But Mercedes keeps getting new technology though!! Plymouth is gone....and their plan is probably to axe Chrysler next.....Who knows?
