just had my oil changed

at walmart. i wnet full mobile 1 synthetic. only $27. not too bad.. ive been meaning to do this for a while

I will be changing Oil in Walmart. Just did not have time to drive to the one with auto center in it.

It was only 27.00 with all synthetic?!?!? Is that a normal price, because if it is, I'm all over that

Hmmm... me thinks me gonna find out where that Wal-Mart is... wow... Only $40 less than I paid for the Amsoil...

Thats what I'm thinking, because it costs more than that for the oil alone, even if you're doing it yourself. I hope its a normal price. More than likely, its not.

If youre switching to a full synthetic oil, pour some detergent in there (Rislone, CD2) to clean out some sludge about an hour before you do the oil change. Reason being, synths tend to have fewer detergents, but dont get as dirty anyway.

Some suggest a quart of ATF, and let it idle for 30-45 minutes before doing the oil change (dont drive with it).

after all the blown engines i have seen from walmart i wouldnt let them change my socks....they never check the gaskets on the filters...plus they hire anyone... and i do mean anyone....
