Jeep Warning Light

My other DC car is a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The other day the yellow check engine light came on. The owner's manual says it could be a loose gas cap or poor fuel quality. It also says not to worry too much unless it stays on after a few 'driving cycles'.

Anyway, the gas cap is on tightly. And the light is still on.

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Alot of times the codes won't clear for 40 ignition sequences. Try cycling the key a bunch of times and see if it turns off.

Run the codes if it stays on. It is the same procedure as with your Intrepid.
