Thumbs up SHITTY ASS 2.7L Engine

I recently had to replace my 2.7 Liter engine with 83k miles on it. Just to let everyone know.....YOU MUST USE 5W30 oil in these motors or you will blow it. I did  . So, now i had to just dump $2,200 on a used freakin motor with 42k miles on it....This motor is a total piece of shit and I will NEVER buy another product from these assholes who wont stand behind thier products and put out a freaking re-call or warranty coverage. So all in all....DODGE CAN LICK MY BALLS!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad i blew my motor a few months ago, but i got an engine back with 20k miles on it, and it cost me $2,300 including the price to put it in. well actually it didn't cost me, it cost the dealership.

So why didn't you put a 3.2 or 2.5 in it for less money? This is what I'm planning on doing when and if i ever have this problem with the 2.7...which i dont think i will.

Hmmm... would have made sense to me to upgrade as well. if you didnt like what you had, why replace it with the same thing for a higher price than an upgrade would have been. If you didnt know any better, about 3 minutes worth of reseach on this site would have told you the 3.2 motor is cheaper and easier to come by.

Well, looks like i am getting ready to replace my engine again. The first one, at about 49,000 went due to sludge, now this one, with about 60,000 is starting to knock. I can't take the stress of this car anymore. I love it, but i can't afford the car, especially now that i have a bunch of things going on. I think once its done, i'm gonna set it on fire in my back yard.

I agree. If you have to dump money out for a new engine, you should have gotten a 3.2 or 3.5. Jusy my opinion though.
