1st gen with the new shifter

has anyone tried the new shifter nob on a 1 st gen intrepid, if so did u need to do any modifications. REDD

a second gen knob on a first gen? I think it might be doable, having seen some first gen knobs that look very very similar to the second gen ones.

the 1st gen auto stick knob is the same design as the 2nd gen shifter

i just have the leather wrapped one from the es model, do they go on the same, screw at the bottom right. just lookin for ideas

It's pretty much been the same design for quite a while (unless you have a column shifter)
