2004.5 Dodge Intrepid Redesign on the rear drive LX platform that shares parts with the Mercedes E-class (ESP, rear axle, wiring harness, auto transmission). The Intrepid gets taller seating than its siblings.:blush:
I think Daimler is doing this as a hedge, after the overpiced Pacifica launched and didn't take off. They can do the Intrepid (my guess) as the 4 dr Magnum. . . meaning a different front end grafted on the Magnum sedan, with lower pricing. I think it is an afterthought badge engineering decision due to price pressure in the auto markets. But I like it.
