Smile New website!

This post is probably better suited for the whatever forum, but it is kind of a general thing too....

After spending 40 hours of typing this past week, I have purchased some web space, and taught myself the beginnings of HTML to create my first and very own website!

It is for my freelance business that I run, doing just about anything graphic related. (print, web, TV, digital, etc.) I even purchased my own domain name! Pretty cool to have my own web address!

Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think. It's kinda plain (I'm pretty happy with it seeing as how I knew nothing about HTML code before last week!), but for now I just wanted to get my information out there.

Beware however, if you are running less than DSL, the movies section will take some time to download and view as the files are anywhere from 2-6MB.

Like I said it is my freelance business, so I am available for any kind of work anyone might be looking for. Just click on the contact link and send me an email!

Now my link to my site!

i D•zyne Graphics

Let me know what you think!

Thanks all! I actually tweaked the home page and made my logo an animated GIF now. Gives it some life!

Plus I forgot to list my file sizes on my movies pages, so I added that info as well so you know how much info there is to download!

Keep checking back periodically for more updates!

I'm sorry. I'm about to be picky. I can't help it. I do this crap as a job now...

1. Change the link color to black or something much darker.

2. Lose the times font.

3. Hover over red on the links? Come on. Everything should match.

4. Do a CSS box for the navigation bar. Black border, and purple back. Might want to do another for a text box in your body.

Other then my nit picking, it is a good design

1. I went to a navy blue as black is my color for the page you're on.

2. Gone! Except for my resume, looks fancier IMO. Set up Tahoma and Arial, some chuncky block fonts...

3. Hover now aqua, to flow with the website and logo colors!

4. Not this advanced yet, still trying to grasp the concept of Style Sheets. I know I should use them, still in the learning process...

Thanks for the criticism, it helps to bring certain things to my attention on what I might be able to do to improve it. Thanks for the compliment too on the look of the site!

How long have you been involved in this stuff? Does it get easier as you go on? Pretty intimidating at first, takes a lot of patience!

Very nice design, layout and color scheme.... learn PHP/Mysql next if you have time, it'll make your site more interactive... or ASP/MSSQL if you're a M$ Buff... just my $.02
