Engine code 52. What would cause that?

I got the following code tonight, and only a week ago I had my o-ring gaskets replaced to fix the gas smell in my engine.

Anybody know what would throw up a code 52?

52**

Rich air/fuel mixture has been indicated by an abnormally lean correction factor. I've already driven 1300 kilometers since I've had them done, went on a big trip. Whilst idling in the car wash today waiting in line just outside of it, the check engine light came up. Before I drove in I did the key on/off/on/off/on sequence and it threw up a 52. What normally would cause that to come up? Kinda pisses me off. It's something new every time. Spend more money than I make. Which is none right now, because I lost my job on Wednesday.

Answers answered asap would help. Thanks guys.

Not enough fuel (dirty filter/injectors/lines) or bad O2 sensors.

Ahhhh shitty deal. I thought something like that might cause the culprit. You know how it is, something you havent seen pops up on the cell, and you want to triple confirm everything. Car doesnt seem to accelerate properly. Just like... Hmmm.

If you are having an acceleration problem, I would place my money on the fuel filter. Especially if you have never changed it.

You can try some fuel system cleaner as a temp fix.

Those were my exact thoughts, too, when I read this thread. Too lean means fuel-starved. The obvious is a clogged fuel filter but could also mean the fuel pump is on the way out. Perhaps dirty injectors as well. A bottle or two of injector cleaner isn't that much and can perform temporary miracles. If it was running reasonably OK then I would suspect erroneous signal from the O2 sensors, but as hypnos is suggesting, I would begin to suspect inadequate fuel delivery.

I also had dodge redo my o-rings too, actually I said my car smelled like gas and was lacking performance, and to fix it. It was seemingly fine for like a week, but now it's having issues again. Nothing too terrible, but the engine code seems odd. Performance seems slightly starved. Mostly all there, but not like when I first bought it etc.
