Smile Test Drove an '04 SXT

Well i went a drove an '04 Intrepid SXT with the 3.5ltr today... and yeah... it kicks the 2.7's ass. This thing only had 25, yup twenty five miles on it was very impressed. The dealer was almost trying to give it away.. sticker price of around 25k... the more we hung around the cheaper it got, by the time we left it was down to "around 20k" Pitty it's way out of my budget but it was good to take one for a drive to get a feel of the larger engine. The depreciation scares me on these cars so buying new is probably not going to happen, as much as i'd love it. Time to search for a low milage car with the larger motor now hehe BUT then we looked at a '03 F150 Harley Davidson Crew Cab.. oooooooooooohhhhh BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! Supercharged 5.4ltr... DVD... Sunroof.. the works.... now if i only new the winning lottery numbers

well i mean really.... my bicycle kicks a 2.7s ass. But really, i can feel your pain on that decision. While my loyalties lie with the Intrepid, Ive borrowed my uncles f150 Harley Davidson a few times and I was in love. Im not a big fan of Ford products, but that is one of my favorites.

True, wouldn't take too much to whip a 2.7

Man, for the price of one of those you could buy a nice '70 Charger and add the other stuff!

Yup, they charged her with filing a false police report. Mainly they pressed charges to 'uphold the integrity of the Lottery'..... yeah right

Well, I bought one of those 04 SXT's. I must say so far it is great. Only got 1400 miles on it so far but I like the car alot. After driving trucks for so many years, the car is a change of pace. I love the response I get from it and the handling is very good.

I would say that if your looking to buy one, get it now before they are gone.!

I just turned 3300 miles in my 04 SXT and so far, I love it. Was a die hard Ford fan but with a change in careers (went into real estate and mortgage brokering) the only mid-sized 4-door that Ford really offered was the Taurus and...no thanks!

For what it's worth, I got mine for under $22K out the door. (Tax, tag, title, "BS" dealer fee, etc., etc...) Sticker price was $25,755. I think I got a pretty "fair" deal.
