I recently received a sales promo letter in the mail from one of the local dealers. It cracked me up. Maybe I should kick myself since I decided not to take advantage of the fact that EVERYONE wants a 99 Intrepid....
Larry_H. Miller Dodge in Sandy, UT has partnered with Vision_Service Group to replenish drastically reduced vehicle inventories. Larry H. Miller Dodge is in need of a number of highdemand pre-owned vehicles and records indicate that you may own one of these vehicles. Your 1999 Dodge Intrepid has been classified as a high demand vehicle. The purpose of this letter is to request the opportunity to BUY BACK your vehicle at or above current fair market value.

There's no shortage of '99's for sale (as far as I've seen). Maybe you're is one of those special "Collector's Edition" that only the dealer knows about
hmm... we got one of those same notices in the mail from Larry Miller Dodge in Boise, ID (place of residence) saying the same thing about the 96 Intrepid... all I have to say is that their offer is ridiculous and the Larry Miller dealers are a bunch of crooks (have had experience with their sleaze in the past).
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Larry's dealerships. I'd never buy from them, and I don't let them touch my car either! They're pretty much clueless. As far as their "sales" events go, they're just like any other...they suck!
There are about a million Treps here in the Salt Lake valley, and I'm sure I wouldn't get anything for my Trep on trade-in, so I'll hang on to it until it dies, then I'll swp in a 3.2 or 3.5 and drive it till the rest of it falls apart!
