Anyone have a list of what causes Limp Home Mode?

Does anyone have a list of things that cause Limp Home Mode? (limp in mode, limp mode, etc.) I know there are a ton of them, but I don't know them. Anyone? Anyone?

Transmission sensors cause limp mode. (Are you asking what the possible causes are?)

Yep, I limped for about 100 miles when my car only had 15000 miles on it............transmission sensors bit it (I was just cruising at 100MPH when they bit it)

no, it didn't shift into 2nd gear, it just didn't drive properly at all. Also didn't start properly and sometimes stalled as soon as I got it started
