Question Some advice...

Today in the mail i got a coupon book. Just flipping through it because i was bored i came across a nice coupon. What do you all think of exhaust systems from MERLIN, muffler & brakes? I found a coupon for 20% of custom exhausts. I dont know, what do you all think is Merlin worth it, and will they do a good job? Im thinking it will save me some money but i dont know,

-Merlin or Custom auto shop?? Your opinions...

-also, i have a 2002 SE, now what parts will i need, im thinking dual exhaust, dual tips, universal piping, and maybe resonators???

-And in general for a stainless steel dual exhaust, dual tips, maybe flow master is 500 dollar budget is pretty good?

never heard of them, but in my mind, as long as the exhaust system is held good, doesn't leak (i.e. welded good), and is even across the back, its worth the money. and 20% off of a nice exhaust system, especially what you mentioned up there is one hell of a deal, since if you spend $500 on it, you are getting $100 off of that. but any place that can do it and make it look professional, whether they are a custom shop or a chain, will be good, but remember that sometimes custom shops charge more because they dont buy parts in bulk like chains do, and sometimes they are way more proud of their work

I got a quote from Merlin for a basic exhaust job, and the price seemed a little high, but it could have just been the location of the store. I know they do good work though
