Popups?

wtf i get off work and get on di.net and click a link and i get 3 popups i click another link and get 3 more. is anyone else expierencing this???

Nope. Than again I have Norton Internet Security with pop-up blocker activated. I'm also using Mozilla Firefox for my browser which has a built in pop-up blocker.

Which links?

Hmm, my pop-up stopper never registers any blocked pop-ups on this site. Maybe you have some spyware/adware on your system. You might want to run AdAware and/or Spybot to check it out.

Yep, it would be some kind of spyware/adware that is opening up popup windows. Go to www.download.com and get AdAware or Spybot or something like mentioned above.

try out the google toolbar, it blocks many pop ups, and definitely run a Spy-ware detecting program

i usually run spybot once a day....didn't run it yesterday maybe that is what my problem is....oh well....

Yeah, I had pop ups yesterday... none today. Maybe they paid their bill?

The only real ads we have is the google ads at the bottom, and some on the news page. None should cause popups. You probably have some spyware on your computer.

Google toolbar makes as a great popup blocker if you like IE.
