nothing but problems!!

has any other 1G 3.5 owners have problems with their high pressure power steering lines? mine went bad again today and its the 2nd time ill have it replaced in the past 3 months!! dont know if because i commonly turn real quick that its busting or what, but its starting to aggravate me all the bad luck i have with this car.

started in sept 2003...installed amplifier(professionally) and my alternator was too small and went out. so got a bigger alte and optima yellow top to be safe. then high pressure line goes out(1st time). then a few weeks ago, swirve to miss a dog and in between 2 poles. axel bent and undrivable plus both front fenders bent in and damaged plus front bumper damaged and one of my light casings busted out. $900 for replacement of axel and casing plus another $2000(professionally) for 2 new fenders and bumper. but i found a friend of mines dad who could paint the pieces and put em back on for me for under a grand. but then today my line busts again and bam! no weekend for me. on top of that my oil needs a change(been close to 4200 miles).

Never heard about this before. I suspect there's something causing this, and unless you find the cause and fix it, they will probably keep blowing again and again.

I've heard of this happening before. Where someone had the lines replaced, and they started leaking agian shortly afterwards.

Try using the lines from the dealer, or even gettig it done at the dealer. I'm guessing the shop you are going to is just using generic lines.
