Older 2nd Gen Seats in a 2002. Airbag issue?

Folks,

I sold my 2nd Gen airbagless leather seats to a fellow with a 2002 Concorde.

I was browsing carpoint last night to find that all trim models of the 2002+ Concorde have side airbags; including his LX [Cloth, AM/FM Cassette].

Did I just do him an injustice? He's got kids.

His kids should be in the back seat anyways.

Find out if the side air bags are from the seat or in the side pillar.

Last time I checked. Side airbags were ALWAYS an option. Not even my 2002 Pro-Am seats have side airbags in them. When it said on the feature list that airbags were standard.

There are no side airbags in the 02 LX. MSNAuto [CarPoint] is wrong.

Seats went in perfectly. Buyer's got a nice Leather interior and I got a stack of Jacksons.

...done before 9AM

The '02 side air bags are in the side of the front seat backs - I have them in mine. They don't protect the rear passengers.
