question about drivers seat.

Hey guys..Can anyone tell me about the recall about the bolts or something to do with my seat ( drivers) I have a seat that stays down all the way.. Its like its broken.. lift it up and it drops down... is the recall about the reclining part or how it attaches to the chassis.. Alos are they hard to change.. In case I have to buy a used one somewhere.

its a 98 ES. I havent had the recall done yet.

Yes it's the recaliner bolt in the driver seat. The recall number is C04. I did it about 4 months ago, was not to happy on the service for a 15min job that turn into a 4 hour job :mad:

Just prop it up with a crate of some it to the dealer and have them perform the recall fix. One thing: Make sure they don't screw up your recliner motor/mechanism. They did on mine. As soon as you get the recall done, make sure to recline it all the way back and all the way forward to make sure it works before you leave the shop!!
