Any intrest in black headlights?

Hello guys and gals,

My name is Luke and I am member of the Stratusphere.us and 2gss.org for couple years now. I provide custom painted headlights with clear corners for the 2G Stratus sedans. Theres a 2001 Intrepid in my family and I noticed that this modification can be done on the 2G Intrepids as well. Please let me know if you guys would be intrested in this mod or is there someone that provides this service to DodgeIntrepid.net?

Thanks,
Luke

Are you talking about the blacking out the chrome divider inside the light assembly? If so, nobody here has even had success in getting the lense off the light without destroying it. So far none of the typically tricks have worked. I've had a spare light laying around for over a year that I've been wanting to experiement to do exactly that but just haven't had the time...

Yes thats what I am talking about. The 1g Stratus Sedan has a similar headlights structure, when it comes to the divider. Thanks for informing me about the absence of support for this mod on DI.net. If it can be done for the 1G and 2G Stratus sedans, I am positive it can be done for the Intrepids.

Concerning price, it works like this, the cheaper I get the lamps the cheaper they sell for. On average, a pair of headlight for the 2001+ Stratus/Sebring sedans sell for $230-$250 shipped.

Post your suggestions here and feel free to check out my work at:

Honestly, and I have no intention of taking business away from you or anything, I'm just curious your method for removing the clear lense. This is definitely a mod I'm interested in...

...damn i thought you were gonna say something like 50-100...you still have my intersts but my wallet just can't keep up...lol..Do you buy brand new headlights, then make them, or does the customer send in his and you make them, then he pays for the work you did and shipping? Because if you buy them then, it kinda leaves the person with an extra set of headlights that they dont need..

I used to do that, but I stopped, because some people dont understand that custom work takes time and I would rush through lamps. I buy used lamps that are in excellent condition, no oxidations. I am looking through my headlight provider, and Intrepid lamps are not cheap.

I prefer if my customers have two set of lamps, because if they decide to sell their car, they might want to replace the custom lamps with OEM. What you do with the OEM lamps if your business. I only provide quality work.

I understand that however what I am saying is this, if we provide you with a set of lamps will you accept them to do the work and just charge for the labor...not that im saying that you would up the price but im sure i can get some headlights for cheap...so what im askin is how much does the actual work cost?

Oh yea you can do that too, its even better that way. I thought you wanted to send in your lamps that you have on your car right now. The conversion for the 2G Stratus lamps cost $120.

If someone put it together, someone will take it apart. Once the lamp comes in. I will take pictures, and make a how-to. I am not about making profits, I am just angry that not many companies care to make parts for us sedan owners.
