Thanks Tires Plus..

for fucking up my outer tie rod ends:

The top one is a brand new one, the bottom one was only about a year and a half old. They fucked it up when they 'aligned' the car. I replaced both sides, the boots on both were torn and had all sorts of junk mixed in with the grease.

Good job tires plus:

I also aligned the car in my driveway better than those assholes ever did.

I'm going down there to talk to the manager in the morning. If he isn't any help, I have their regional office number.

I had some very bad dealings with a certain location of Tires Plus once. I complained and complained, got the regional office which didn't do shit so I called another Tires Plus and explained the situation and they gave me the number to someone at headquarters that would take care of me.

That person in Florida sure did take care of everything. They waived the entire bill (which was a little over $1000 at the time) and then had me take the car to another Tires Plus of my choosing to get the work done right and then credited me another $250 worth of service/parts on that car, which at the time was my old Turbo Eclipse.

So keep up the good fight. It took me a little while, but it was well worth it.

I should also add, every other location I've been to has been GREAT! One time right before Thanksgiving a few years back, one of my snow tires completely blew out and shredded while I was away at school so I had to get it fixed in order to get home. I could have used the spare, but there was a blizzard going on and having 3 snow tires, one crappy donut and 300 miles would probably equal a sure accident. They didn't have my size (205/55/16) and brand (Blizzaks) in stock, but they had one that was very close, a 215/50/16 used Blizzak. They threw the tire onto the car and didn't charge me for the labor or the tire. They just wished me a safe trip home.
