How do I fix this?

My car has a nasty looking spot in the pait where the paint is still solid but is all bubbly and has traces of rust comming through it. Should I scrap it down to bare metal and fill it in with a big spot of touch up paint before it makes a rust hole. Spot is about 1.5"x2" on the back of the trunk.

I have pics but I can't figure out how to post them...Can someone Please tell me how to post a pic in a thread.

Anywyas about the paint, i would leave it the way it is, if you want to fix you would have to sand the entire region and get that region painted at a local body shop.

if you use touch up paint it will crack and fall off.

Good luck

The same thing has started on the edge on my hood this summer. It's rusty at the seam on the underside and has worked its way through apparently as I have 4 little bubbles now. I need a c/f hood in the worst way
