Went to our local Dodge dealer to get an estimate on replacing the weather stripping on my 2000 Intrepid. They gave me a quote for $465 for all 4 doors. Much higher than I was wanting to spend. Has anyone replaced the weather stripping or can you tell me how to find the parts I need to do it myself?
check a junkyard. make sure theres arent ripped. i bought all 4 doors for 70 bucks and installed it myself. U can also check out jc whitney company also.
Order them thru www.allchryslerparts.com, about 30% cheaper than list. I replaced both front window seals at around $35 each on my 95 Concorde. The door seal is a different part and cost more. The window seal is complicated as you have to remove the door panel and glass in order to remove/install the seal down into the front channel.
ive done mine twice in 3 years its a simple job,, what i did was find a 98 trep in the bone yard that I will never go to again!! anyway, the ones i found did not have the vinal strip in them that always shrinks and look loush these and just a satin black,, looks great and they dont shrink,, cost me 45 bucks for all 4 doors
