What a deal! Will these fit?

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/pts/210416153.html

$150

I know the bolt patterns are the same, but will that tire work on my Intrepid without any scraping? I've seen a few 1st gens on here with 300C rims and they look great.

Thanks
Matt

Looks like you are just north of the guy. If they would fit, would sure be worth a look.

The wheels will fit, if they are off one of the FWD drive ones, which I believe they are. However, you will need to replace the tires with 225/55/17 if you want to keep the stock diameter. Good find!

I believe you mean if they are off a RWD car since all they make is RWD and AWD, not FWD

For that price you should run and get them

I'd really like them, but right now I have to get the car fixed before I buy any more stuff for it. I need to replace the sway bar links or whatever it takes to get rid of that annoying front end vibration.

Two of those tires look pretty well worn on the outer edge. Better be prepared to buy a couple before long. And if you do, remember that on FWD new tires go on the back.

Never heard that, but I won't argue it. It is vitally important on FWD, tho, because studies have shown that if the rears are well worn and new ones are put up front, the car is prone to spin out on a hard turn, and the spin out is sudden and unpredictable.

Like Clueless noted, looks like your buying rims, those tires don't appear to be anything to write home about....also don't think they only on brand new car couple months.
