Mr. Cd1

Ok I have to say it..might get bahed for it but i definitely have to say...Mr. CD1 is actually a good guy...if you read the guy's profile on ebay you will see what i mean...the reason that he's doing the whole ebay thing is to support his family...thats his full time job...plus he graduated in business suma cum laude so he's not a dumbass...but yea i mean i look at it this way at least i know the item i'm gettin is gonna work and not have problems and if it doesnt i will get another one...plus he has all the cables and connections you need...explains the differences between the items...just overall has tons of information and his pricess are actually pretty competitive when you think about it...we'd all love to get rb1's for 400 bucks but shit i remember a few months ago when 600 was a killer deal that needed to be jumped on immediately and now we can get them from him at 575 shipped...so i mean when it all comes down to it im glad he's on ebay cuz i know i have a go to guy that knows his product and i dont have to worry about it not working or being the wrong part. Dont worry tfc is still the man (you too Gigamight)...ima invite him to join di.net

Yeah, good for him. I'm sure he's the only guy who works to support his family. I'm all for free enterprise but all he does is snatch up the good deals and then make people buy from him. If he was buying them on ebay and then selling them in a store or something it's one thing but he plays the market on ebay and prevents anyone looking there from getting a good deal. Just because he graduated from "business school" doesn't mean he has a business degree. I find it really hard to believe that somebidy with a business degree makes his living selling navigation radios on ebay, but thats just me.

i mean but think of it like this tho...if you were running a store like best buy or something they get all the same stuff for cheap and sell high...he's doin the same thing but out of ebay...he gets its for a low price and sells high...but its still lower the what you would pay in the store or from the dealer...he doesn't stop anyone from gettin a good deal...he just has more time to sit there and make sure he wins...and he has the capital to do so...if any of us had the money to buy all the nav units out there and sell them for 100 bucks more than you paid...we all would do it...plain and simple.

he isn't nearly as bad as some of the "professional" ebay sellers

I'm talking about the guys who snipe auctions ending at odd times or with vague descriptions then turn around and resell them within a week for profit

That's simply capitalism. Nothing wrong with it at all.

ok...lets look at it this way. a member on the site (who will remain nameless, but many people know what im talking about) bought chrome switches/handles for a steal. he turned around within a week to split up the sets, and sold them each for as much as he bought the whole set for. he was scolded by many members (obviously myself included) for his negative actions against members of the same site. that is exactly what Mr. CD1 does against his fellow ebay members (i know i know, its much more impersonal over there, but its about morality). if he has a business degree and did so well in school, he can get a job where he doesnt dick people over. i like people with business ETHICS and MORALS. he has none.

I'm with 00R/T on this. I don't like it when someone sits there and buys up all the good deals.

There was a span of months where I was trying to buy a certain Tandy Calculator/mini-pc and this one user kept buying them ALL up. I just gave up. I mean, what he's doing isn't wrong or anything, it just makes it a bad market for those certain things.

I keep seeing the same losing bidders for these items as well, and over time, we all just gave up and so it's unfair to the seller simply because now there doesn't seem to be a market for them anymore even though there really is. No one wants to get into a bidding war just to lose, or possibly win at a much higher price than what we're willing to pay.

ethics and morals? come on you guys are crying on the wrong shoulder...no one is bashing the guy that works at best buy because he's not giving the your price that paid to stock the store...no one is saying that people who work in clothing stores are scum bags because they sell clothes that cost 15 times more than the price it cost to make the item...lets get real this is business..its not personal...he doesnt give a damn about you all positively or negatively..he's doing this for money plain and simple...if he said he was gonna buy up everything so that you personally couldnt have it then yea hes a dick...but he did this without you me or anyone else particularly in mind...he saw and opportunity to make some money through ebay and took it...what do you think ebay is? lol...stop trying to turn a business situation into a personal vendetta...i guess you have to be business minded to see my perspective..but yea...i do the same shit back when i was selling...i would go to the junkyard and get parts and sell them on ebay for a hell of a lot more than what i paid am i a bad guy no...cuz you still got a deal right? i just made a few bucks...i bought an interior of a 300m for 300 bucks and sold it for 1000...by breaking it up...thats a 700 dollar profit...am i bad guy no I am a business man....he's doin the same thing...and like i said if you could make an extra couple of thousand bucks by redirecting your buying power through sitting a home on a computer ur full of shit or stupid if you say you wouldnt

It's gotta be somethin else. Michigan drinks the same water. Oh wait, I know. What they are saying is that it's not fair for this guy to what they say "cheat" others out of winning....so what about this?

Kenny Rogers and pine tar go hand in hand.
