Cool What Better To Shoot Out Tires From Than A Trep???

Intrepid Sniper

pretty booring clip of a chase, but odd how the story is when u read it, but when u look close enough a high powered rifle, like an AR is used to shoot out some tires driving parallel to the truck along with regular interceptors

I saw that on Dallas SWAT a week or 2 ago. Pretty amazing stuff. They actually wanted to use a .50 cal to try to take out the engine, then couldn't get to a safe point where people werent near the area of fire. They then shot out the tires and eventually it slowed down and they had a standoff for a while. They said on the show that he was assaulting the girl at gunpoint, and then he allowed her to throw the gun out of the vehicle. Anyways, good find, It puts a cooler perspective on it than what I saw on the show.

They kept trying to get up on overpasses with the .50 so they could shoot down at it. They wouldn't even try doing it from the side or front for obvious reasons, either hiting a pedestrian or having the guy shoot out at them.
